Private Instruction

Individual meditation instruction provides an opportunity to work with a teacher one-to-one. The benefit to this model is that each session includes a uniquely tailored meditative practice and inquiry led by your needs and allows an opportunity to examine your experience more deeply with the help of an experienced guide. Alysia’s experience as a psychologist has the added benefit of helping you make sense and meaning of your experiences. Individual instruction is particularly helpful to address unique challenges you may be having in your meditation practice, such as working with trauma, working with self-doubt, and/or working with judgment and shame. There are three options available for individual instruction:

  • 30 minutes: includes 5 minute silent sit together, 10 minute discussion, 10 minute guided sit, 5 minute Q/R and instruction for home practice

  • 45 minutes: includes 5 minute sit, 15 minute discussion, 15 minute guided sit, 5 minute Q/R and instruction for home practice

  • 60 minutes: includes 5 minute sit, 20 minute discussion, 20 minute guided sit, 15 minute Q/R and instruction for home practice
